Real Estate Manager

Wilson Fortune is a Real Estate Manager for JDA’s Spartanburg portfolio. He is responsible for the leasing operations and property management activities for JDA's commercial real estate properties. Wilson seamlessly transitioned to this role from JDA's Industrial Division, where he also served as a Real Estate Manager. In this role, he was responsible for sourcing, site selection, strategy, development, management, and leasing of industrial projects. Prior to joining JDA, Wilson spent six years as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in both staff and command positions for infantry units throughout Scandinavia, the Indo-Pacific, and in Camp Lejeune, NC. Before joining the Marine Corps, he worked for three years as a Series 6 & 7 licensed Senior Service Associate at Oppenheimer Funds, a global asset management firm based in Denver, CO. After completing his time in the military, Wilson received a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and enrichments in Energy and Sustainable Enterprise from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from North Carolina State University.
