In March of 2018, JDA acquired the 4,000-acre tract of land in Summerville, SC, just outside of Charleston. This property is located in a nationally recognized historic district, making the zoning process particularly challenging.
Leveraging prior experience and relationships in the market, the team openly engaged with community stakeholders to develop a PDD and Development Agreement that was a win for all interested parties.
JDA has divested 950 residential units to a national homebuilder and continues to work through other uses on the property.
